Enrolling Your Child
The enrollment process consists of four basic steps. Including class observation, a visit for your child, completion of the application form, and an interview with the Directress.
- Observing the class
- Scheduling a visit for your child
- Completing the enrollment application form
- Interview with the Directress
Observation of Class
We welcome visitors and encourage you to observe our classroom. Visiting an elementary classroom offers the opportunity to observe first-hand children working independently and cooperatively in self directed activities.
Scheduling a Visit for Your Child
It is important that your child have the opportunity to visit us and meet the children in our elementary class. It is also an opportunity for the teacher to observe your child working in ourenvironment and with other children.
Completing the Enrollment Application Form
Once you and your child have each visited the classroom, the next step is to complete our application packet. This includes a student information form, questionaire, school progress report and recommendation, and teacher evaluation.
Interview with the Directress
An interview with the Directress is important for both you and the school in order to answer questions and to help determine if we are a good fit for one another.
